For running over a mailbox. Not for the dumb shite they were doing

I'm fine with an attempted manslaughter charge if that's a thing

Have to be kidding with that charge

They were trying to harm or kill people otherwise they would have thrown the water jugs at parked cars. I agree they need to up these charges.

Felony charges that will result in no jail time. Felony damage to property is one thing, but what these fools were doing could have very easily killed someone. They need to charge them based on that and send a very strong message, just my opinion.

Way light
Some sort of attempted homicide...probably not murder though.

Sick but I guess a jug of water isn't going to kill someone like a rock could. It could scare the hell out of someone, smash the windshield and result in a crash if the driver loses control.

And every article I've read about it states that no one was injured but someone was.

So what's your point with that? Are you trying to say that since no one was injured the charges shouldn't be increased? Firing a gun into an occupied vehicle will get an attempted murder charge every time, even if no one gets hit with a bullet.

I think he's agreeing that the current charges are light.

Not likely. It's a jug of water, not a rock.

A jug of water nails your car, blinds out the windshield. Flinch on these no-shoulder AP roads (which is most of them, including highway 621) and you're in a ditch.

an 8 pound jug of water when full, it could easily shatter glass and send shrapnel into a victim, plus the shock of something crashing a windshield could cause a fatal crash. The ap is weak as frick if this is all they are going to bring for charges

Those two look like they were popular in high school

So being blinded at 45-50mph at night on a 2 lane road couldn't possibly result in hitting another car head on, ok I guess...

Full gallon jug of water isn't going to give very much with a lid on it.
And just for frame of reference... You know what else weighs the same as a full gallon jug of water?
