Maybe but I wouldn't eat at 18 Steak so by avoiding that place, it's like you're making money.

I think she sounds cool personally. Most first date ideas are bullshite and boring as frick anyways. Shows she's active and not boring.

Recently went on a date with a chick. Find out what she does like. Movies,bar,Putt putt, blowing etc is really what a man wants to do and she has probably already done those a few times.
I just kept asking questions until I found out she liked to paint...score. Quick google of paint places and Boom the next thing you know we are doing that BYOB and Paint thing. Then she wanted to extend the date by going out to eat.
Do not give in and tell her " You choose then. "It makes you look like a pussy and women don't want to have to deal with two pussies. Their own and you. Take control and you tell her what yall are going to do and if you feel really confident in your choice then you make it a surprise. Bitches love surprises.

If she's dictating the terms of the first date then she is more concerned about what she does than actually meeting you (or maybe she's hyper religious and doesn't want to be seen in a place that serves alcohol). Either way, find a different date.

I should edit. It wasn't just restaurant or bar, but dates involving eating or drinking. Stuff that doesn't involve just sitting there.
ETA: That is, if you've suggested a bar, and she shot you down. Then you suggested a restaurant and she shot that down. Then screw it, i'd flat out tell her to choose since she's gonna keep shooting you down til she gets her choice anyway. But if it went down like that, I do think that's something to keep an eye on.
If, as I may understand it, came up in casual conversatoin before asking her on a date, and you just happen to be equipped with that knowledge that she doesn't want that, then you can come up with one o fthe many suggested here.

More information is needed. What does she do for a gig? Does she like girly stuff or outdoorsy stuff? What about you? Do you have a boat or ATV? 4WD F250 or Prius?
