A small price to pay in order to start a conversation. What's really important here is getting a dialogue going. A dialogue about rape in this country.

“Ultimately, we were too deferential to our rape victim,” Mr. Woods, the article’s editor, said in the report.

Don't they mean their fake rape victim.
The only rape victim here is the reputation of UVA and the guys in the frat Rolling Stone lied about in their article.

They lost that when Jann came out.
Since then, they've led the league in "social justice" issues.
I don't know anyone that takes their writing serious, and this was before this last screw-up.

It's this kind of lazy attitude that's keeping anything from getting done. You can't just TALK about having a conversation, you have to actually have a conversation. We need to get a dialogue going about rape and rape-related matters in this country.

Well this removed any sort of credibility that Rolling Stone had, and anytime they try to break some sort of story in the future this will obviously be brought up.

I guess I need to post more about having a conversation on a message board then.

Your trolling abilities are admirable. Nearly Rex level.

I guess, if you're not man enough to have a dialogue then you could settle for a "conversation" on a messageboard. Real rape activists want to enact real change by starting a dialogue, then a free exchange of ideas and eventually awareness on, of and about all things rape.
But I'm sorry, I guess you just don't care about rape-victims.

Of course I don't care about my date from the night before!

Insincere apologies are one of my triggers.

Exactly the kind of honesty that is required in any serious discussion about rape in this country. We're constantly bombarded with propaganda from the anti-rape crowd about victim's rights and all kinds of other issues. Why not have a real conversation with all parties involved?
Posted on 4/6/15 at 9:17 am to LucasP
Conversations are complicated. It's easier just to ignore it.

So you are also advocating for rapist's rights? I misunderstood you.

I'm not advocating anything, just promoting a conversation.
A conversation where "rapists" (a derogatory and overly simple term for all people who rape) can be there to defend themselves and their actions rather than being slandered in their absence.

Lucas, would you say that being a rapist is their sexual orentation just as for others it's homo or heretosexuality and since we can't choose our sexual oreentation it's not their fault and they should not be ostracized for who they are?

Bruh, you're getting trolled
