Getting information from federal agencies that rely on local agencies for the data is like playing telephone. You start with, "I like oranges." and end up with "Do mules have genitals?"

And with the highly publicized nature of this event, you'd hope that these killings could be correctly classified.

Wait. We still have people believing Sandy Hook massacre didn't happen?
Good Lord, what do you need to really know?
All of you conspiracy loons, do us all favor, please.
The next time a mass shooting occurs (wishing there won't be one) go to the site in which it occurs and take it all in first hand. Stay long enough to go to the series of funerals. Try talking to the parents or close ones of the victims. Maybe then you'll realize this is reality and not staged.
Until then, shut the F up if you can't show me how an event was actually staged.
TIA.

They can't prove shite. It's always the same stupid thing... Post some half asses blog stories and links that question a few things, then sit back and call people sheeple and claim to be superior because they don't trust the government.

Anyone who is so far off their rocker to believe it didn't happen shouldn't be walking on the same planet as me.

Why are you two so emotional about this?

It's just friendly discussion.

One would also hope that if the government was able to successfully fake the deaths of dozens of people on a small and affluent town, then maintain a cover-up, while the families were placed all over the National news, that same government would not make a data entry error that blows up the vast conspiracy.

It's the flip side of Kardashian America, the opposite of low-information America. It's people that are OVERWHELMED with a combination of paranoia, ideology and sketchy "information". They want so badly to believe that it's all tied together and that they and a few other "enlightened" truth-seekers are the only ones who are brave enough to see "the truth". It's the paranoid style of American politics and it's every bit as damaging as complete know-nothings. One side find that ignorance is bliss, the other needs a narrative to conform to their personal biases and paranoia, even if the facts are easily discover-able in ten minutes. It's contemptible on a moral basis and simply not worth entertaining on an intellectual level. You can't fix these people.
There's a term for it, coined by an Apple game theorist. It's called "constellation." Some people see a mass of chaotic confusion and try to find patterns in it, just like looking up at the stars and connecting the dots to make your own picture, as with constellations. In his presentation, he used the "Paul (McCartney) is Dead" conspiracy theory as an example.

This game theorist noted that people were playing games and over-analyzing the minute details in the screen scenery, thinking that they might have something to do with the game. At the time, they didn't, but since then, designers have been incorporating those kinds of minute details into the actual game play.

So maybe the games really are to blame.
