I could see community service, fine, and a 2-5 year suspension of her license to practice. Maximum would be a fine, 18 month prison sentence, 36 month probation, and indefinite suspension of license to practice.

Why do you think this? I have a coworker who is on the housing board who said that this woman couldn't get a job out of law school so she had to start her own law firm that has been a complete failure.. (Most likely what led to this event)

That's what happens when a women is to stupid to steal. She took 400,000 and didn't give the them anything.

The proper way to do this would strike a deal with the supplier. Give the sorority 100,000 of shitty furniture, have the supplier give invoices that says it was 400,000 or 500,000 grand worth of stuff, give the supplier a cash handshake payment for the help, and pocket the rest.
