It'll take a rock to finish it, at least 1/2 a rock.

It was in a LLC when it was started. Word around was he got into trouble with the law, financial stuff. Also word is he had a gambling problem, thus the shady financial stuff.
No way it's worth the price. It will take a lot to finish it out and it's been sitting for sooooo long. For that price you can built your own really awesome mansion.
It's also not far from the ghetto. It's on the edge.

This will be a huge issue. Buddy bought a place that had been sitting with the intent to flip it. Once they dug in, there were so many problems he ended up having it torn down and selling the lot. The tear down and removal cost so much he ended up losing money on the venture.

Conceived as a grand personal residence for local class-action attorney Hugh Sibley, the project stalled when Sibley was arrested in 2009 on charges of money laundering and drug conspiracy. He pleaded guilty in 2010. Sibley was then sued by the federal government in 2013 for failure to pay his income taxes. He died in 2015.

Nah, it's about 2-3 miles from the nice neighborhoods. You go to the church with five names and the gravel road the is rough. On the same road that house is on, about 2 miles away, is one of the roughest trailer parks in Hammond. It's not in the ghetto, but it's between the nice spots and the ghetto. Location for 2 mil is not great.

Speaking of nice houses, I saw online that one of the owners of Grand Construction died in a plane crash over the weekend. Isnt one of the owners of Grand Construction building that big castle looking house on Old Perkins near Santa Maria?

There's one off Hwy 22 in Gonzales for sale like this also. I think they even tried turning it into an apartment complex.
