I've been advised not to use Uber to get from the LSU game in Houston. Was told by a Houstonian that id be SOL trying to get uber to pick me up from a game.

I talked to these cougars the other night that used, I think it was called Cruise in New Orleans. I was drunk as frick, so that might not be the actual name, but they definitely used an uber-like program on their phone

Used a cab service in Laffy last weekend
Called at 9, okay cab on it's way
Called again at 9:30....cab is on it way just wait...okay
Call at 10....oh it looks like they picked someone else up, well send another one up
At 10:50 we get a call from the cabbie to say he's outside
Then the night is winding down, I call the cab company again early...oh just go to the back of the bars, they're will be a billion of them out there when the bars close
Go to that parking lot at 1:45 and not a cab in sight.
Didn't get a cab ride home til 4 that night. Could've walked quicker home

I'd advise you not to use yellow cab... you will be SOL too

Believe it or not, a lot of people don't even think twice about getting a cab because of exactly what happened to you. They'd rather drive drunk and not deal with the hassle
