But how, the OT says the economy is great

Economy is far from great here in S LA. Hence, why you see the annual exodus to Houston, Dallas and Atlanta by graduating college kids.

That's 3 companies
Yes it is three but the third is purportedly re-hiring everyone.

Didn't Trinity Marine announce they were closing a long time ago?

Last one can barely even be counted as LA and it is just standard rebid of a MIL contract. Not a big deal at all. New contract holder will hire in place anyone that is worth a damn and they won't miss a day of work.

Trinity Marine closed and reopened the Brusly yard a couple of times but this time Trinity has closed almost every yard in Louisiana.

The first sentence says South Louisiana. Barksdale isn't in South Louisiana

We've got 2 WARN act letters this year. Each time a week after the letter went out we picked up big jobs.
