Incident one: I hear a loud swear at me in the middle of the night from the master bathroom. Seems my wife had fallen into the commode because the seat wasn't down. Of course, I always lift the seat before peeing and almost always put it down when I'm done... just so happens that on this night I went to take a leak earlier from the middle of a sleep and failed to do it. Who was more at fault? The man who is not perfect or the woman who failed to look out for her own safety before sitting? She never forgave me for her accident, though I never admitted fault.

Incident two: We get in the car for a short trip... it's a pretty sunny day... I'm driving along for a short while when I hear a whistling of wind coming from one of the windows, so I pull up all four windows on the driver's door control panel. Then I hear the most terrifying scream you could ever imagine... so bad that I immediately slammed on the brakes, from instinct, and risked getting rear ended. Well, as it turns out my wife's fingers were stuck in the window... she had been riding along with her fingers sticking through a very narrow opening at the top of her window. It didn't even immediately connect with me that her fingers were being smashed... I asked why the frick are you screaming like that? Then I saw her situation. She never forgave me for that one, either, though I never admitted fault.

I'll never understand the toilet seat conundrum with women. I ALWAYS look before I sit. It's just common sense.

The first is an outright fabrication. Everyone here knows you squat to pee.

Incident one: Her fault for being stupid enough to marry you.

Incident two: See response to incident one.

We have a simple rule in our house: if you want the seat up, lift it up. If you want the seat down, put it down. Not very difficult

I don't think so. No adult should be riding in a car with her fingers poking through a very narrow opening at the top of her window.

The Rex-bullying continues. On behalf of all kind-hearted people everywhere, I must ask you people to stop tormenting this man. If there was room for the elephant-man, Curley Hallman,Lorena Bobbit, Fidel Castro, that reformed pedophile guy that drives the ice-cream truck and Tanya Harding, there should be room for Rex.

"Are you OK? I'm not happy you're hurt, but sheesh."

Maybe I would have taken your approach if I had liked her more.
