Denali used to mean something. Originally and up until the last few years the Denali trucks always came with something the others didn't. The earlier ones had quadrasteer, the 2007 and up ones had the 6.2 while the other trucks could only get the 6.0. Now a Denali comes with the regular old 5.3 by default and is just a trim package.

Where are you getting a Denali with a 5.3?

"Premium package" trucks have so much markup on them its ridiculous.

Truck snobs hate the Nissan Titan, but I bought a fully loaded (tow/ utility/ technology package)one for $36K cash 4 months ago. The engine in it is so good, the next vehicle I expect I buy is a self driving one..15 years from now.

The LTZ suburban does that too

frick, my 2015 LT Tahoe does that and shoots a red light on my windshield if I am getting too close to the car I front of me while the seat vibrates.

Comparatively, the motor is the only good thing about the current Titan.

Not personal to you, but its not like most will be faced with thus decision. I mean how many people will ever be able to afford 100k car. Problem is we've got so many damned 50k per year millionaires who buy this crap at these ridiculous prices. Probably less than 1 out of 100 people can actually afford to blow their money on a car like that.
I know when I was looking at Tahoes at first, I put it off and went back 3 years later. Price had jumped 10k for the base model. Only reason I ended up buying one is because I got a good deal on a USED one that was less than a year old. And its garbage. Will not be buying another. I'm not rich, but I know we do better than most. It's absurd what people think they can afford. And car companies are going to keep bumping it up until you cry uncle. But people are going to keep on with their "well thats just what it costs and I NEED that vehicle, because you can't get by without a SUV/truck".

I drive a 2012 Denali, I bought it with 21k miles for 36k, it was 53k new.
I do not plan to pay more than 40k for a vehicle anytime soon.
I buy quality use vehicles, because they have gotten ridiculously expensive and depreciate so much the first 2 years.
An LTX Tahoe is 65k or more
They have lost their minds
And the crazy thing is, you see them all over.
An Escalade is now 100k
It's stupid and where does it end?

Titan gets a complete redesign next year, so those interested in this vehicle can probably get an even better deal in about 2 to 3 months.

I'm sorry but anyone paying over $50k for any piece of shi from
GM needs to have their heads examined.
Tahoe? Nope. Go with a Lexus GX. So much more luxury and reliability for the same price.

I love when people say this kind of shite, as if there is a threshold on what is a good deal or not from GM. If GM makes shitty vehicles in your opinion, the price you pay is irrelevant, no?
If I'm not mistaken, you recommended a Range Rover in this thread. Range Rovers are notoriously shitty vehicles from a reliability standpoint, yet you're going to bash GM?
For the record, I'm not a GM fan, but your post is ignorant.

Probably transposed the 8 and 5 incorrectly. $58k seems about right. No way its $85k
