It's got a lot of miles on it, but it's a pretty good deal. I bought an 09 f150 in 2011 (XLT, 4 door, Chrome package, SYNC) with 6,500 miles on it for 22,500. My brother just bought a 2012 f150 with 25k miles on it for $27k (XLT, 4 door, SYNC).

I bought a loaded 2012 FX2 with 7 miles for $29,000 in September of 2012. Buying a 2 year old F150 makes no sense with the current incentives and rebates.

It was in an accident....it's not in "good shape" regardless of how clean it is. It's also a high mileage vehicle.

I think you are at least a couple of thousand off.

paying more than 10,000 for any vehicle ever, is silly given how quick they depreciate, FWIW i'll be a lifetime used car owner

Why stop at $10,000. May as well pay no more than $5,000. Then you REALLY get the depreciation out.

You can have fun driving your beater. Some people enjoy having a nice vehicle and don't mind paying for it.

I think buying used is smart with alot of vehicles, but new F150s is not 1 of them.

This ain't no shite. I went to buy a used this summer and ended up buying new because of the small price difference. Wasn't worth it.

To the OP:
Price a brand new one just like it. Calculate incentives and the works. Figure out the price difference. Is that price difference worth 60k miles?

They came back with a buy order (i haven't signed it yet) for the 20,500 and after thinking about this and reading what you guys have said, I agree...this is a shitty deal.

2 year old vehicle with 61k miles PLUS it has been in wreck. I don't think it's worth 20, 500, maybe 18k. I'm going to counter with 17.5 and negotiate up to no more than 18.5.

If that doesn't work I'll pass and either find a better used or get a brand new F150. The thing is I did not want to make a huge vehicle purchase this year. This is all due to my current car being totaled in an accident and I'm being somewhat forced to buy something to get around.

Just get a cheap beater until you can get something better.

One of the absolute best options to have on trade-in or resale.

With manual windows and locks? Does it have power steering?

here is your XLT 4X4, sure it a little over $30,000...but if you are worried about $900 dollars...save up some more.

Well, let's see what kind of rebates you qualify for. How much you have to put down or trade in to get that price.

I found a video of the 2015 F150's today. I've been looking at the 13's vs the 14's since Friday at every dealer and website imaginable until seeing this video. I popped a chubby after seeing what 2015 has to offer in June and still have remnants of it as I type this post now.

I got the opposite feeling looking at the 15's. They look butt ugly to me. I suppose it will grow on me like the last body style did.

Regardless, it's 700 pounds lighter. Made almost entirely out of aluminum. Most think this is a good thing, I for one don't like it. One stiff wind and you're all over the road. And there is no v8 option.
