Are you going to hit them all?,or trying to pick 1? What are the interests?
Food= NYC
History= Boston
Scenery and outdoor stuff=Denver
Kansas City probably has great food too,but never spent any length of time there.

Fenway for sure. The new Yankees stadium didn't do anything for me. Fenway is 103 yrs old and kept up nicely for that old time feel

And you might not want to rent a car in Boston. It's crazy to get around and parking is ridiculous. Cabs and subway work just fine. Get a lobster tail (pastry) at Mikes on the North End

2 years ago, the northeast was the best option. Now I would say Denver go to a show at red rock and hit up a recreational MJ store or two. You can also go skiing 6 months of the year.

Boston seems like the most interesting out of those choices. Of course, that's all a matter of personal taste.

Who is Going to recommend Kansas City over New York? The choice is simple: New York. It's the greatest city in the world bar none. Every person in the world should see it at least once, unless of course you're a terrorist.

KC is alright, Kauffman is a lot of fun this year since the Royals are playing well and you can hang out in Westport at some fun bars and go eat at Q39.

Sure it can't compete with the other places on your list but it is a lot more affordable and lower stress than NY or Boston.

Ditch the car. It's more trouble than it's worth. Take the train from Boston to New York and use taxis or the subway while you're there.

That's not the question...it's what you can now do in Denver within the last two years.

Not sure when your going, but if you can go to Boston on July 4th I'd recommend that! Went a few years back and caught a baseball game and after the baseball game saw fireworks over a river (can't remeber name). Stood on the bridge, were tons of people. Was an awesome experience.. I'd also take a history tour! Another thing, Boston is close to NY so if you have 5-6 days you can do both!

The only thing I remember about Kansas City was Oklahoma Joe's, but that was across the river in Kansas. Of those I would pick KS, last.

Exactly what Rag said. Go to Boston and train it to others (NYC or even Philly and DC).

why choose ? do them both .. Fenway is an old, historic park with a cool places to go get a beer around it .. Yankee Stadium is an antiseptic, new rendition of the old stadium .. I haven't been to the new one yet .. but it is a pretty cool subway ride from Manhattan to the Bronx .. you go from money to ghetto to money again .. a slice of Americana ..

I've been to the new Yankees stadium a couple times. It's very very nice.

I would do either Boston or NYC. You can't go wrong with San Francisco either. If you like outdoors type things, then SF would probably be a better bet, alongside Denver.

But like everyone has been saying, just go ahead and take KC off that list.

I think Mike's is a tourist trap, super long lines for something you can easily get elsewhere in Little Italy/North End.

there is a lot more to do and see in new york than boston(i'll second what landshark said about new york being the greatest city in the world). I'd recommend 2 nights in boston and at least 4 in new york(or 3 boston, 5 new york). don't rent a car, just take a train between the cities, its about 4 hours. Go to fenway instead of yankee stadium, thats a no brainer.

Kansas City has a WWI museum that is very good, and the steamship Arabia museum which is good as well. But yeah, it comes in last; easily.

If I flew to Denver I would not spend a minute in the city. Hell, there are at least a dozen national parks that I prefer to New York City or Boston.
