I have at least 3 red light tickets I've never paid. Some as old as 6 years old. Been pulled over multiple times since. Not once have I been arrested. I've had background checks done. I slice again nothing came back. No hits to my credit. You sir are wrong

You need to pay closer attention to what you are reading. You're still wrong about the warrant.

Please note that failure to appear or to pay timely will result in the issuance of a warrant for your arrest, withdrawal of your driving privileges, and the assessment of additional penalty fees.

I think this statement is pretty cut and dry, homie.

Of course it is, but it does not apply to redlight camera tickets. The camera tickets do not have a court date, ergo you can not fail to appear.

You're confused about the wording. Just because you are not required to appear, does not mean you do not have a court date.

Sweet baby Jesus in a Canadian tuxedo. And I'm the one who doesn't know how to read? Do I need to boldface it for you?

There's a pay by date on traffic camera issued citations, yes?

Do you understand now?

It's a civil ticket not a traffic ticket, says it on the ticket, it also states that a late few will be assessed if not payed on time not a warrant

refers to paying the traffic citation you were issued in lieu of appearing in court to pay the traffic citation you were issued. Not a civil ticket mailed to you by an out of state third party administrator.

Not true. Civil enforcement only. In fact it is against the law to issue criminal enforcement traffic tickets through automation in the state of LA. They are a civil penalty which they say they can boot your car or report you to a debt collector.

Has anyone actually gotten booted?

I got my wife booted. I ended up paying the price one way or the other. However, I did not "get my arse tore up at OPP." Only at home.

Q: What happens if I ignore the Notice of Violation?

A: Failure to pay the civil penalty or to contest liability prior to the due date of the Notice of Violation is an admission of liability, and failure to appear at the Administrative Adjudication Hearing after having requested a hearing is an admission of liability and constitutes a waiver of the right to appeal. Failure to pay the civil penalty by the due date shall result in the imposition of a late-payment fee of $35. for payments between 1-59 days past the due date and $50. for payments greater than 60 days past due. If the second notice remains unpaid, collections proceedings and entry of a judgment against you may proceed.

I think the part about collections is BS too, because you are not incurring a debt that you contracted to be liable for.

Are you really this stupid? There's no doubt you are a complete retard but you have gone beyond trolling on this thread. Camera tickets are civil, not criminal. Most of what you've written so far in this thread is wrong.

Pay it. If you don't, you won't be able to renew your license. Speaking from experience here. In my defense, my notice got lost in the mail. Really.

ETA: Got my ticket in NOLA, not BR.

Where do you live?

And in what city did you violate the red light ordinances?

Not for a civil violation.
