Traffic Light Camera Ticket Question

Got a "ticket/bill" in the mail saying the car registered to me violated a traffic law by running a red light. No picture of my car w/ license plate. I ignored the first three. Got one the other day saying if I fail to pay it will get turned over to a collection agency, which will have a negative affect on credit rating.
I had no intention of paying until I saw the negative affect on credit statement.
Advice is welcomed.

There should be a number to call to dispute it. Don't ignore it.
Everyone I've known who's disputed these things have won, except 1 who was guilty as hell. The burden of proof is on them and they are obligated to show it to you.

You did not incur a debt or any other obligation requiring you to pay something. If they do try the credit report route, dispute immediately.

as said, you can dispute the credit and will easily win. However, you need to quit breaking the law or stop letting someone drive your vehicle.

Throw in the trash can. Check your credit (transUnion more than likley) in a few months. They will report it. You can dispute with Transunion and they will take it off. When you dispute it all you need to say is you never entered into any agreement with the company reporting the debt.

Call and dispute it. If they can't prove it's you, game over.
Eventually they WILL turn it over to collections. Tell collections you don't owe it. Send them a cease and desist letter. They will ignore it. They will put it on your credit report. Dispute the report. The bureau will remove it when they realize there is no proof.
The collection agencies will continue to hound you. Tell them to pound sand.
Note: this is all assuming you are truly innocent. If you did run the light, pay the damn fine.

If you are in Louisiana, they cannot report it to the credit agencies due to a big class action lawsuit from a couple years ago.

Yes, if you park on street and meter maid runs your plate you will get boot

Girlfriend just got one in the mail here in Chicago and they always provide 3 pictures with it. One showing you before the light with it red, one with you in the intersection, and one of your plate. If they don't provide photo or video evidence, that's weird.
