Tour is boring but at the end you get to stand behind the bar and drink as much as you want.

Just don't eat at the brew pub. Head back down 59 to Old Rail Brewery. Much better food.

Best part of the "tour" is when it's over you get to sit in their tasting room

Which is true of any brewery tour I have ever been on.

Yeah, when we went to Parish it was the middle of summer and hot as balls. So they rushed us through that tour. But that tap room is great and Parish has a line of solid to great beers, so it's all good.

Best tour I've been on was St. Arnold. Lazy Magnolia does a good tour. Jester King was pretty interesting, because they have a different philosophy about beer. Karbach was OK, the guy leading the tour was kind of a goofball

Seriously, once you've seen one stainless vessel you've seen em all.

Very few are worth going to besides the free beer.

New Belgium does a very good job with their tour.

You can drink for about an hour for free. They have taps of the different flavones lined up.

Top 20 craft brewery in the country, but hey McDonalds sells a lot of hamburgers too.

I don't think Abita is the best in the world either, but I also won't apologize for liking it and buying it every Friday when I make groceries.

We used to go when the tap room was actually the employee locker room. Loved going out there and drinking free for hours then filling growlers of AndyGator and heading back to BR. With a DD of course. Best Brew tour I've been to so far was Terrapin before the LSU/UGA game last year. Weather was awesome and ladies were abundant!

And if you go one the last tour of the day, you can drink longer than an hour.

Its a legit brewery tour

Clearly you've never been on any other brewery tours. I thought the tour itself was absolute garbage compared to other brewery tours I've been on (St. Arnold, Karbach, Harpoon), but the self-serve wall of taps is legit. Aside from the tour, which couldn't have lasted longer than 10 minutes, I still think it's a fun time.

One more thing... They're doing a LOT of construction on the premises lately.

You definitely want to call them before you go to ensure they are offering tours.

It was crowded when I went, but I got a good buzz. Just mix everything with AndyGator and you're set.

Did anyone tour the place before the construction of the current tasting room? There used to be a waiting room with five or so kegerators and a couple of chairs. They would give you a plastic cup and tell you that you can either take the tour or just sit in the room and drink. If you took the tour then you could just keep going back to the keg room. They really didn't care. I took the tour again a few years later when they had the tasting room. They were not so lenient with the access to the kegs. Still a good time.

You have limited time in the drinking room. Go for the earliest tour and they let you drink a while before tour began and again afterwards.
