Looks like today is trending more active than originally planned. SW Louisiana could end up being a hot spot depending on how things develop.

Looks like the Nola metro is the safest spot to be in the entire boot region

Strong line hit NW Houston hard and as it passed through downtown it fizzled a little. Maybe it'll get recharged but looks like wont be much of a factor for Baton Rouge.

Are prison walls thick enough to muffle the sound of rain? I am really curious

The only time I'll give credit to anything Alabama...

8+ hours of ABC 33/40 Alabama coverage of April 27, 2011 Outbreak (inc. the Tuscaloosa tornado)

Meteorologists James Spann and Jason Simpson are on air for like 9 hours straight covering the barrage of tornadoes... and I can't say how perfectly they used all the means available to them to keep everything in line and express the danger of those storms

ETA: including storm chasers

ETA2: if you want to see the tornado actually in Tuscaloosa, it starts around the 2 hour 25 minute mark in the video
