Pretty sure Fort Polk has an office and they'd be the ones putting out warnings. Could just be a radar station I guess.

Just a radar site, Shreveport and LCH are handling these storms right now.

Storm mode is getting kind of messy but the cell SW of LC and the one just offshore are still discrete enough to really ramp up. The cells in CenLa are clustering but haven't lined out yet, so still pose a tor threat. Also, tor warned cell in Arkansas looks pretty healthy.

the previous warning was put out by Shreveport... the new 1 I just posted was by Lake Charles

I'm confused. The warned cell NE of Anacoco looks like garbage.

Lch is the best NWS office in the state IMO, but were confused at some of their moves today.

The tornado warning put out by the Shreveport office for the Anococo cell has apparently been discontinued

the small warning for the southern part of that cell put out by Lake Charles remains in effect

that Sabine, Vernon, Natchitoches Parish area seems to be giving both Shreveport and Lake Charles offices issues today

Side note: These damn cell phone warnings need to be cleaned up. My wife got one in Bossier on her phone a little bit ago and that is ridiculous.

The actual tornado was an hour and a half away.

Might have a tornado coming off the gulf just to the SW of the warned area near Cameron.
