We are quiet today and that pleases me much but the rainfall was fantastic....you all be safe, please.

P.S. beside the heavy rain about all we got at the house was a smidgen of pea sized hail and typical tstorm winds

Rain is the much bigger threat with this system. We're getting another 2-4 inches tonight.

This could be trouble for Dallas, cell is moving into a more concerning environment. However, we saw this yesterday and cells kept raining out (HP cells that got choked by their own RFD).

You can see the inflow just cranking away on radar with that cell.

We are approaching 2 1/2 hours that the tornado south of Dallas has held. Pretty incredible.

Looks like the rotation is right over Abbott, TX just south of the I-35 split in Hillsboro.
