New Day 1 Outlook:
Current Watches
Record breaking tornado season kicks into high gear tomorrow, with what might be the nastiest setup so far this year. Atlanta could be ground zero tomorrow.

A little note, when they say strong tornadoes they mean EF-2 or stronger. So this doesn't or hopefully doesn't guarantee there will be a repeat of 2011 when there were multiple EF-4s and a couple of EF-5s

I don't like hearing terms like "long track tornadoes" and "large to very large hail" being forecast for tomorrow.
Seems the setup for really bad weather is much more in place for this round than there has been lately.

I'm about 15 minutes East of Augusta, just across the Savannah River in SC. Schools and a lot of businesses have announced early dismissal and closings from this area thru Columbia and Lexington, SC.

Weather Channel seemed to indicate this evening that PDS watches could be in the offing tomorrow

Heard the same thing. Something about waiting to see how it looks in the morning.
They're saying we should get hit with a first round around noon and then it should clear and a second round worse than the first is predicted for tomorrow night.

Where was our illustrious state government when we had PDS watches two days ago and one of our larger cities and the area around it got hit by a long track tornado while warnings were popping up all over Cenla?
