An ACT score of 28 would have placed you in the 90th percentile last year. A score of 30 would have placed you in the 95th percentile.

I'm guessing you're school sucked

it's because they try harder
In HS, I did better in math, chemistry, and physics without any more effort than other classes. English, biology, social studies, etc were what killed me. Classes that relied on memorization have always been GPA killers for me

When a disproportionate number of scholarship winners are white and Asian, then what?

You don't know the answer to this by now?

In LA they do. Every kid in the school takes it as a junior (Sped, career bound, college prep). Only ones excluded are the severe Sped students.

My brother only got a 25 on his ACT. He went on to graduate at the top of his class at PT school at LSU. Throughout his scholastic career he never tested well on standardized tests. Dude got like one B ever. Thats not an exaggeration. And he is the most intelligent person I know. Some people just can't test well on those standardized tests.

Don't you have to take the GRE for PT school?

A 25 is a good score

Of all the people taking the ACT your brother scored higher than 80% of them

I had a 3.2 something GPA but had a 30+ ACT.

If I had homework that couldn't be done in class or in home room, it didn't get done.

That did not prepare me for college ha.

Let me rephrase... his standardized test scores never reflected his lofty scholastic achievements or his actual extremely high intelligence.

wrong. my best friend and I were in the same trig class. I made straight A's and was constantly having to explain stuff to her. while she was much more studious than me, math didn't come easy for her. And I did several points better than her on the ACT

also the teacher and school have a lot to do with it. my son was way behind in math when he moved to Texas schools
