I think a couple of things would help bowl games. No 5-7 or 6-6 teams. Try and find good matchups/storylines rather than conference tie ins. Second have the bowl games right after the season. Two weeks to practice, get travel plans, etc. . I think you may limit some opt outs by having the games soo...
