My 16 Colorado has the same amenities (also didn't want leather), a better sound system and I get better gas mileage. I was OTD at about the same price as you. If you don't like the look that's fine, but no need to make stuff up to pump up your own decision to purchase a Taco.
This argument is like saying "The General" insurance is better than State Farm because you get the same deductibles for a lower price.

You've still yet to make a point. Other than the obvious one that you're a piece of shite that brings kids into a message board convo. Real winner you are.
ETA: Why'd you edit your post?

I'm not arguing that the Colorado is better. I'm arguing that his price point is BS. I didn't even mention that he completely fabricated his Taco's towing capacity.

To OP, I have the 2016 SR5, 4 door, 4x4, V6. Touch screen, xm/sirius, alloy wheels and towing package (7,500 pound capacity
You sure that's right?
Max towing for the Tacoma is 6400 lbs. Most are only 3500 lbs.....according to Toyota's website.

That was the best prices I could find on the Colorado. Nothing fabricated about it. GM didn't come off hardly at all.
Also, I tow a 6,500lbs loaded down dual axel box trailer twice a week. Pretty sure my capacity of 7,500 is accurate.

Pretty sure it's not

Tacoma V6 with the Tow package is no slouch. Its maximum SAE-certified towing capacity is up 300 pounds for a total of 6,800 pounds
I stand corrected.

Pay off the right people, a Subaru BRAT could've been truck of the year.

You're still mad I said your truck looks like a bag of assholes.

I dont think you can go wrong with either one. I have an 06 colorado with 150k miles and havent had a bit of trouble out of it.

Sound just like a millinial. Person A makes up a story, person B calls out person A, person A says "your just mad....". It's like when someone says "you're just a hater". Grow up.

You are a post editing machine. First you get rid of your pissy little tirade, now you get rid of the "u mad" 10 hours later. Why are you afraid to stand by your words?

Because this thread is supposed to be informational, it has been for the most part, and I don't want our little pissing match to get in the way of it. I already told you why I edited in another thread. Again, I'm sorry for the insult, it has no place here.
I own a Tacoma, have explained my point about the value of the 4x4, if you don't want to actually discuss it, leave it alone. Although the Colorado had stopped productuon for a few years, If you look at the 2012, the 4x4 package is worth $3k as well.
If you want to just talk shite, let's do it in another thread where shite talking is the topic.

You're the one that turned it into shite talking. You're also the one that edited like a chickenshit.
You're also still the one that never made a point.

I did discuss it. You went full on bitch mode and started making personal insults and bringing up kids.
And your rebuttal to me regarding the actual topic was to ignore the extra money that you won't get back. That's the most hilarious part in all of this.

I feel sorry for you lunchbox. I apologized, I tried to get back on track, my point is still there for you to see.
You do this in every thread. You pick one point to drag into the ground and completely ignore what people have to say, so that you can be right about something.
I can only imagine you do this same thing with people in everyday life. You have added nothing to this thread, you add nothing to this board.
I actually own one of these vehicles. I went through the same decision myself. I am factually correct that you will get the upfront cost back. The variable costs are impossible to predict for someone I don't know, and I have the OP the benefit of the doubt that they could figure that out for themselves. If you disagree with this, that's your issue, it's a matter of materiality, and I don't consider the added fuel costs or potential interest to be material. Let's just agree to disagree on this point, and drop it.
