(3)50

In the early ‘90’s, I was traveling to Dead shows, WSP, etc.

Throw in some Janes Addiction, RHCP’s, etc.

What was so "phenomenal" about it?

Honestly....they had dancers and some old tricked out cars, wow....amazing isnt it!

I thought they were gonna hop in the cars and cruise around in them or some shite singing rolling down the street sippin on gin and juice.....but that didn't happen.

I thought the one short dude decked out in black and gold chains was great....couldn't understand 75% of what he was saying...very memorable moment.

When 50 has hanging upside down in that box on the field...that took talent hanging like didnt it!

Snoop dog crip walking maybe? I mean, i guess thats phenominal? I preferred him trying to be discreet and smoking his blunt before he went on...only to be caught on camera. Legendary isn't it!

Or Eminem with his symbolic kneel down. Lots of courage there.

I did find Mary J's hair to be its own show. That shite was flapping all over the place, was hard to tell there was a woman under all those extensions. She really rocked it!

What was your favorite part of this "phenomenal" performance that the racist rednecks didnt catch on to?!?

Prince is number 1 for me.

I also liked Diana Ross. It was pretty cool when she was singing her last song and you see a helicopter approaching. She says something like "there's my ride" and it lands on the field. She hops in and it flies away with her sitting on the edge of the floor of the copter dangling her legs.

I didn't see much of last night's show. The music and artists didn't interest me.

Prince, Michael Jackson, and the one where Katie Perry floated around on the sparking firework.

Tonight was easily the worst half time performance in super bowl history

Yes...finally somebody has enough guts to say the truth. Shows like 1982's Up With People singing hits from the 60s...or how about the 1980 Super Bowl Up With People singing boomer songs...or how about the 1976 Super Bowl featuring...you guessed it... Up With People singing songs even your grandparents think are too old for an NFL halftime show.

I want to see more no name kids lip syncing to Surfing USA...that's what America wants to see. Right?

Prince and Katy Perry stand out to me. Prince from a quality standpoint and Katy Perry from a pure entertainment standpoint. Regardless of what you think of her music, the Katy Perry halftime show was a lot of fun to watch.

the one tonight isn't even top 10

This is dumb.

If you want to put Bruno, Prince, and U2 above this one I can see the argument for that (even though in my opinion if you leave the emotion of 9/11 out this one was better than U2 easily and better than Bruno).

However, after that what are you putting ahead of it...everything else has been shite for a long time.

In LA? No chance the ilk of LP saved their money from welding side jobs and went to the super bowl. This crowd would rather post about their NFL boycott from their sofa bed.

I watched it last night. It was a great show, but was cringing at the thought of kids watching it with the language. There is no room for innocence in our country any more apparently.

As far as a performance, I thought it was really cool and all of them brought Super Bowl worthy energy.

Bruno Mars was the GOAT performance.

Prince is terrible. I hate 80's music.

I thought people were upset about kneeling because it was disrespectful to the National Anthem and what it symbolizes. Are we equating Dr. Dre to the Star Spangled Banner now...Or are you upset because it was disrespectful to Compton?

That’s a pretty odd comment given Bruno Mars is pretty openly a huge Prince fan and has influence his music and stage presence. Like I don’t know anything about Bruno Mars other than that little factoid. And his SB performance was awesome.

ZZ Top in Nola.

My dad was one of the Harley riders participating. It was loud and awesome.

Honestly the fact that my immediate reaction wasn't to label this year's show as the worst all time (as the last several have done) is a good sign that it was pretty solid.

My Top 5 are

Prince
Tom Petty
Bruno Mars
Stones
Snoop and Dre

I didn't like U2, liked Michael Jackson, was surprised that I liked the country fest show, and never saw Up with People but I'm damn sure I would've hated it.

Now, take that list, stick it into your little woke vs redneck detector box and see what it spits out. While you are at it, have it also tell you if I like blondes or brunettes, pizza or egg rolls, and if my favorite color is blue or red.

I've been trying to figure this out too.
