Tonights 1/2 time show was good but not legendary. You put 75 cents into the show and it took it down a notch. His song isn't iconic like the other ones and his inclusion left scratching my head. You to 90 seconds away from Em and Dre to play some fat 50 cent that no one listens to anymore?? They could have done a proper forgot about 'Dre with that extra 90 seconds or perhaps another Em song besides Lose Yourself.

Prince is #1 (it's not even close) is NFL Films did a special documentary on this halftime show. They have never done that for any other halftime show. Prince playing purple rain during a rainstorm against a huge backlit white sheet still gives me chills. It was just him and a guitar. He didn't need a bunch of other acts it was just him. Funny thing is tho 1/2 the songs he played wern't even his but classics or songs that he liked and found funky.

Another fun fact most people might not know about about the Prince show. Prince loved to troll. There was a little dispute between Dave Ghrol and the Foo Fighters and Prince. Prince didn't like that the Foo's had re-recorded Darlin Nikki and put the song out without permission. So Price being Prince he's used 2:30 seconds of his 11 minute allotted performance time to sing a Foo Fighters song better than they did to get back at the band.

Today. Dre, Snoop, Fiddy, Mary J and Eminem were phenomenal and any of you fools who say otherwise are just ignorant rednecks.

What an idiot.

It's art you fool. People have differing opinions of what is good, great and even "phenomenal".

But right on cue, call people racists if they don't think like you.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Tom Pettys halftime show. For me, that’s the GOAT.

I’ll leave this here for everyone

I don’t trust anyone that doesn’t have Prince at #1. They honestly should have just stopped having musical acts at halftime after his. Nothing will ever come close.

Bruno’s was awesome as well.

Anyone who puts last night above the Bruno Mars show is a straight up emotional thinker fueled by nostalgia.

Tonight was easily the worst half time performance in super bowl history

A take more dumb than the emotional thinkers referenced above.

Acts like the Who and Stones were so much worse. Just old man reactions to nipplegate

It was a great show. As a mod 30s millennial, I am in the target demographic for this show.

That was my teenage music.

I was pretty disappointed at this halftime show. The visuals were great with the LA lights and the cars and the 'hood'. Great idea and represented the feel they wanted.

Snoop was the best of the 5 just because his ganga is the fountain of youth. But seriously he actually looked real.

Dre obviously didn't recover from his car crash as much as advertised. Watching him I felt mostly pity. I liked a LOT of Dre's stuff in the 90's. He looked like a robot.

Slim Shady didn't even do a good job with his studio work on what played, much less lip syncing. He was awful and disappointing as well.

Mary J Hideous outfit. They didn't do her any favors by having slim/fit dancers all around her. I worried her trailer roof was gonna fall in. IDC about her or her music. Never listened to her.

.50 Should have had a Biden pointing sticker on his back saying 'I did that'. Obviously 50 cent is now a buck 50 with this inflation. He shouldn't have been there at all. Wasn't near the caliber of the others.

IMO, they should have played some Easy E and had a memorial thing to it with some of the boys pouring out a 40 to him or something. NWA put Compton/LA rap music on the map.

Prince is #1. The rest aren't close.

I grew up with all those rappers and enjoy and still listen to their music.

It was bad song choices, lip syncing, and half the songs had different words.

There was no grit to it, it was plain and not much excitement..

If that makes me a redneck well..
