Most I've seen wouldn't pass local building codes.

If I were single with no kids I’d live in one. Less to take care of

I read a humorous review of someone who lived in one. Talked about if you cooked something with onions or if someone passed gas how awful it was that it just hung around in there.

That's why they're built on trailer frames... Not intended to be "traditional" construction.

I’ve seen some that look really nice ... and expensive. This defeats the point if you ask me; when you go north of $24k then you should just rent a decent apartment.

Hell, they showed one the other day that nearly $60k. Show claimed it was a young couple trying to save money. Googled the name, saw the price and said “frick that.”

I love the idea of them, but I don't understand how they're practical unless you're in some extremely rural area or some place with zero zoning or HOA restrictions.

You couldn't have something like that in any neighborhood I know of so you're basically stuck keeping it in a trailer park. No thank you to that.

Yeah, I read that as well. I think they were making some awful reduction sauce- which takes hours to do. Haha. Hipsters.

They were a great idea at first. Not so much when at the current prices they're hitting. There are some really nice travel trailers that serve the same purpose that are more streamlined for moving that don't cost as much.

I'm just wondering if I could clear the whole house with a fart rather than just a single room. My kids would hate me.

Typical. Big government trying to step in and tell us how to build our uncomfortable shoe closets.

Looked at one of these for my mother. She is planning on building a house on a piece of land. Wanted to get one of these to live in and then have as a guest house. They weren't cheap. I told her there wasn't any sense in spending sixty or eighty thousand on a tiny house.

Those pieces of crap are excessively and unnecessarily small.

I mean, there is a difference between a small house and a house that is so small that you are uncomfortable. I mean what's the point of living in something not much bigger than a closet.

That would be an issue too. At least about twice per month

I wouldn't want one. Too hard to sell if you want to move.
