Unlike NELA, it’s booming baw. Strike while the iron is hot.

You’ll miss the state tax withholding but you’ll cuss when that property tax comes due.

Nobody wants to cook every night. Not much choice over there unless you love Applebees, though.

I’m in both Tyler & LC often for work. It all depends on what you value more & what you like to do. Tyler is booming on south side & is…pretty damn nice for small city. You can get to Dallas quickly. It’s far nicer in my opinion than LC. Plus you wouldn’t have to worry about the yearly threat of hurricanes in NE Texas

Lived there for about ten years.. took a job with a small oil company . Left a major in katy .. thought I would retire there....retired and decided to leave Tyler and move back to katy..

Has a lot of positives and some negatives… depending on your lifestyle.. career ..and interest..

I could just ramble but ask me specifics
And I may be able to provide better answers from my point of view…

Loved the only time I went there with my college roommate. He was somewhat of a celebrity there spots wise. It was fun as shite and Texas as shite. Great stuff and real people.
