Not sure if you live uptown, but this place is over run with cats, cockroaches, rats, and OHpossums. The fewer of each the better.

They don't do that anymore. They pick up feral cats and spay or neuter them, clip an ear to mark that they have been fixed and release back in the same neighborhood unless you tell them not to. If you tell them not to bring it back they will release in a different location. The only ones euthanized are the ones that are sick.

Neighborhood cat means stray cat. I do not care about stray animals. It is odd to want to shoot a cat unprovoked, but at the end of the day, there are bigger things to worry about

The one exception I know of is if you trap the cats and claim they are yours animal control will pick them up and bring them to the pound. They usually don't last long there whether they get adopted or euthanized.

Exactly. Besides fleas and fricking up car hoods, feral colonies can spread rabies, hookworm, and toxoplasmosis to humans. I'm not going to praise the guy because driving around shooting cats for fun is pretty fricked up but I'm not all broken up about Blackie the Cat either.
