This was a rental, but this guy at work was going out to the plant and the company rents vehicles instead of buying company vehicles.. Anyway, when he got in the car and pushed the seat back he said all of a sudden this horrible smell hit him. He had no idea where it was coming from but he said there was no way he could drive that car so they gave him another one. In the meantime they were trying to find out what was causing the smell.. After awhile, they finally found it. It was a dead turtle under the seat.

Stop looking you wont find it. Every owner of a Jeep is currently looking for their rattle and it will never be found. Its a Jeep.

My first car, bought at auction with 87k on it. There was a compartment in the headliner I used to stick my cigarettes in. ..one day I pulled it down and found some pictures of the previous owner. A ginger with a smoking hot girlfriend. A Rottweiler puppy. And the last pictures, him fricking a full grown Rottweiler from behind. And another with the dog fricking the girl.

I panicked and burned the pictures so no one would see.

While I get your point, several usual suspects exist. I'm hoping to check those soon.

Oakley sunglasses in a drop-down compartment in the very back row of a Tahoe. It was a rental so we turned them into the agent....

....who probably kept them for himself.

I never cleaned the little Yota pickup I drove in high school and one day I looked down at the passenger floorboard and in the corner some soil had accumulated and there was a little marijuana sprout growing.

Bought a Mazda B-2200 p/u circa 1992. Drove it for 3 years till it was totaled in a rear-ender. When I cleaned it out, I found a little brown suede pouch hanging down by the string under the driver's seat.

Had a 1922 and a 1923 silver dollar in it.

Must have knocked loose by the collision.

In my F-150 I found a survival knife under the seat in the scabbard. Cheap made in cheap-wan.

A wedding band. Parents bought my truck from a relative when I went off to college. He forgot his wedding band in the ashtray/storage area. I just put change in it and never really looked in it. Didn't find the ring until like 6 months later. He didn't even realize he didn't have it

One of my fears in life is getting pulled over and busted for drugs that the previous owner left in the paneling or some shite.

What's the process like of disposing of stuff like this? You call the police to turn it in? Is there some kind of investigation? Is the vehicle evidence?

this. I bought a truck a few years back and for the first few months I thought I smelled pot. (bought it in Colorado) My fiancee still says she smells it.

I have never smoked in it. It's odd. I wonder if I can call a K( school and have one search it without a cop handling the leash.

I well wrapped brick you shouldn't smell so I would think it would be a quarter that was tossed in the dash.

Yeah, I just called a buddy of mine who is a cop told him what I found. They came out, bagged it up and took it with my statement. He said they never could trace where it came from.. I think he frickin sold it..

You'd be surprised at how often drugs are found in used cars..

Hell, I had a dazzling young urbanite try to pay for a car with 3 one gallon ziplock bags full of weed once..

In a rental, found a wallet made of duct tape with a $100 bill in it. Also in a rental, took a road trip up to NYC. Every once in a while we'd get a whiff of piss. We looked everywhere but didn't see anything, until we got back and were unloading our luggage....a nasty arse diaper was stuck wedged underneath the seat by the electric controls and vent.
