Golf seems to be a very common one. Why is that?

I peaked in high school whereas most people didn't really even pick it up until after. I guess some of us just burnt ourselves out on it too early in life

I'm actually more interested in golf that I was in high school or college

Granted, I still suck balls. But I just wish I could go whenever I wanted

Maybe that's another thing. Playing golf regularly is expensive as shite. The other hobbies I have are basically free minus gas to get there

Golf. Why is that

For me I rarely had to pay to play thanks to being on the golf team and working at a course. If I ever did pay it was $20 for a tournament at Redstone, Blackhorse, Kingwood, Conroe, etc..

That coupled with the fact my dad can't play anymore and hardly any of my friends at LSU liked to play and could afford to led to me not playing very much. I have a course a block away from me so I plan to start playing more again

I still care about sports but less than I use to. When I lost sleep over the 1/9/11 debacle and my boy Bron losing to the Mavs in the finals I realized I cared a bit too much.

The OT Lounge.

Nah the list would be long as there are less than 5 things I probably give two shits about.

Politics

I used to be addicted to political talk shows. I can't watch more than 5 minutes now.
Yes, me. I was a FOX junkie. I no longer watch FOX or any of the 24/7 news outlets, or any of the regular network news outlets (local or national). Browsing around, I find things of news interest to me on the web. I'm sick of the talking heads, the contrived "debates" between the predictable two sides, the massive egotism of many of the hosts. So I do the "click!" thing now and click 'em off. For better mental health.
