Now you should post a photo of the parent threatening you just to add fuel to the fire

Because of various reasons thefts and break-ins have increased in our neighborhood as well recently. This has driven the need for many of us to keep our driveway security lights on all night, install motion lighting on every area of the yard, and utilize indoor and outdoor security cameras. It's an extra expense but it seems to keep the ne'er do wells away. At the same time those without alarm systems or additional lighting have suffered losses at the hands of thieves..... The thieves seem to be diligent in their research of the habits of our neighbor's here.

Was he trespassing?

This.

If he was, simply reply "Your son was trespassing in the video."

The only question I have is what the hell is a light bar.

Very popular on lifted 2wd trucks with big mud tires that never have a legitimate use.

Parents condoning their children's crimes should be accompanied by tuition to CD selling school.

"Sometimes"?

Sometimes, less is more...accurate.

Proper response should be: "frick yo family".

No it doesn't. You need to broaden your horizons or make more money and relocate.

A gated community with security and million+ dollar homes had a few break-ins and petty theft a few years ago. It can happen anywhere. Don't be a douche.

The thieves admitted to also stealing a light bar from a vehicle. If you or anyone you know is missing a light bar please contact the MCSO at your earliest.

Hopefully the owner of the light bar is too embarrassed to claim it as his.

Who am I kidding, it's MS.

You and cootkilla live in the same hood? He was fuming in the OB about someone stealing his blower. (Not his wife)

This is the same thinking as the trash in BLM. Blame other people for catching the criminals

So our little neighborhood just had a couple of thieves going through it in the early hours of morning. Stealing lawn equipment and Yeti coolers mostly.

Someone in our neighborhood had a camera system that caught excellent pictures of one of the guys, even though nothing was taken from that particular neighbor. This person posted the images on Facebook and they spread, and the thieves were caught. They are in big trouble.

Apparently one of the thieves is a family member of someone that lives in our neighborhood. That family member is going crazy because "they had no right" to post the photos because nothing was stolen from them. The photos spread like wildfire through the neighborhood, then surrounding neighborhoods, then the community.

From a private FB group for our neighborhood:

"You have created untold amounts of problems in our family for something that didn't even involve you. When redacted is found innocent we are going to sue the hell out of you and everyone who posted the photo. You messed with the wrong family."

I moved to the nice part of town thinking I would get away from such. Ah, Mississippi, you're a bitch sometimes.
Do we live in the same neighborhood?

ETA: Nevermind, you said Mississippi...this same thing happened in my neighborhood, though.
