I loved going to blockbuster in the 90s. I'd get something, my sister would get something, my mom and dad would get something, and then we'd all get something togeather. I loved running up and down the aisles trying to pick

Still wish we had Blockbuster to rent video games.
Rent 3 games for $10 over the weekend and see which ones were any good was lot better than spending $50-60 on buying one and finding out it sucked

I drove past the one on Santa Claus Lane in North Pole, AK, a few weeks ago. It was like seeing a real bell on the roof of a Taco Bell. It's a whole differentent world up there.

And there are still 51 incompetent Blockbuster managers
It makes me wonder if they still put "Opportunities for career advancement" in their job postings.

To Hell with Blockbuster. They wouldn't even carry NC-17 movies.

This is depressing. It has not been a blockbuster year for me financially. My Blockbuster stock is down.

The biggest dvd rental business still has over 700 locations, most in the midwest. They are not merely surviving, but doing well, and even thriving in most regards. Mainly because they have really smart owners who know how to compete. Not sure how long they have left, maybe 10 years, but they've done pretty well.
