My favorite is how Slidell is only one notch above Gonzales. I'd say that's about dead-on balls accurate.

As a recent St. Tammany transplant, I've learned that the Northshore people don't think all of the Northshore is equal. Slidell is, in fact, a shite hole. But the rest of the area is the same. Just don't tell people from Mandeville.

Yeah, I don't understand the Mandeville vs Covington fight at all. They're both beautiful towns filled with beautiful people, a very nice walking trail, a lake, great food, and good beer. Why can't they just get along?

Well most Northshore people are high-maintenance and can be hard to take seriously.
