I want to know how Houma can be ranked 75th in weather and Larose 1st? They are 20 min away from each other.

Yeah, I don't understand the Mandeville vs Covington fight at all. They're both beautiful towns filled with beautiful people, a very nice walking trail, a lake, great food, and good beer. Why can't they just get along?

It's so silly. I like the quaintness of Covington, Madisonville, and Abita. Minus the lakefront, Mandeville has nothing the least bit interesting IMO. But, I'm not into cookie cutter neighborhoods or people.

Have you seen the cute little old town or driven along the lake? Mandeville is gorgeous, just like Covington and Madisonville. It has just as many cookie-cutter suburban subdivisions as them too. THEY'RE ALL THE SAME PLACE!!!

*except Slidell. That place is garbage.

The writer lives in San Francisco and has probably spent less than a week of her life total in Louisiana

Subdivision. There's a bunch of subdivisions in South BR on that list (Inniswold, Villiage St. George, ect)

Prarieville middle is like 60% black. Back in the day before the high schools were consolidated, Prarieville High was the black school on that side of the parish. There's plenty of middle class and country blacks in Prarieville. Just almost zero hoodrat, ghetto trash like the rest of the East Side of Ascension. Donaldsonville might as well be NOLA minus the hipsters and tourism.
