Nothing has ever felt better than IV pain killers as I lay in an ER with what felt like I was being stabbed with a rusty ice pick, (for the previous couple of hours), while at the same time feeling like your testicles were involved in some type of demented test of a industrial strength hydraulic vice grip.

Impressive run on sentence. But standard grammar can not be used to adequately describe a kidney stone.

Be careful with Prilosec - some doctors are steering their patients away from it because of potential blood pressure issues.

I don't know how the bell Prilosec would raise blood pressure but it seems that on same cases, it does.

I would suspect an abscessed tooth and when the endo opens it up relieving pressure and when the root canal is completed.

My FIL described it as being unbelievable relief.

So sorry for you guys.

I've witnessed my dad (a-hole that he is) slam his head in the ground screaming like a demon possessed. fricking terrifying to watch. Actually felt for him then.

I had a really bad corneal abrasion recently. Nothing helps the pain - open your eye, close it, blink constantly...

The emergency room doc gave me these eyedrops that numb your eyes. Instant relieve - for about 15-20 minutes, and then the pain is back. You're only supposed to use the drops every 2 hours. That hour and 45 minutes between the time that my eye started hurting again, and the time that I could use the drops again was pure misery. Using those drops was awesome.

I begged him telling the Doc I don't have Syph, but he did his thing.

Then he asked me if a candy striper could watch. I said sure. When she came in, she was gorgeous, but about 13 years old. WTF!!!!!

My shoulder has been popped back into place twice.

It goes from agony to painless almost instantly. Pretty insane.

Also, if you've ever had severe nausea and then gotten Zofran in an IV or dissolvable tablet, the feeling of that nausea ending is so fantastic.

every time by back goes out completely, like can't breath type of pain, I go to the after hours clinic a couple blocks from the house and they shoot me up with Demerol. Talk about instant and glorious relief. Then I go home and sleep for 12-18 hours.

For example I just had terrible heartburn for about an hour. I took a few Zantac and about 40 minutes later it just went away. What a great feeling.

Tums are better for sudden onset heartburn. H2 Blockers are really something you take daily.
