re: Bill Ayers...How did he become such an influential professor of Education? - Bama323_15
"Academia" folks are wildly liberal and have no common or rational sense. They love people like him.
I agree. I do not think most K-12 educators fall into the "wildly liberal" category however. Most of the K-12 teachers I know tend to be conservative even. But on the Academ...

re: Bill Ayers...How did he become such an influential professor of Education? - Bama323_15
Back to Ayers: An admitted communist with a history of attempting to violently change what he sees as wrong with America, has been very adeptly focused on changing minds via K-12. As I have stated, I do not believe public schools should be forcing Christian religion on students and I am certai...
Usually, when Ayers is brought up a ad for buying gold follows.
 I agree. It is also difficult to have these conversations without everyone attempting to push each participant into polar opposite corners of the ring. Even though I identify myself as Christian I do un...
Which talk-radio show has brought on this concern?
 I have not listened to anyone. I began researching the forces behind education reform several years ago. Topics ranging from the Broad Superintendent's Academy to Common Core. But in an attempt to be transparent, I...
wish he wouldn't touch Common Core with a 10 ft pole, because I'm actually a fan of it
I think he and other radicals have had a major influence with Common Core and will continue to as well. I really see this as a "Catch 22." The need for similar standards across the ...

re: Bill Ayers...How did he become such an influential professor of Education? - Bama323_15
What is their agenda?
If "their" refers to Ayers and people of a similar mindset the agenda would seem to be centered on transforming the U.S. into a socialist/communist country. Ayers education goals seem to center on changing the way in which students view the world and using...

Bill Ayers...How did he become such an influential professor of Education? - Bama323_15
From what I gather Ayers has been and continues to be very prominent in education circles and even speaking at Common Core events. How does someone with his past: 1) Get a professors spot at the Univ. of Illinois? 2) Become influential in American K-12 education 3) And allowed to promote Commo...

re: Dog thinks he is Alpha, suggestions? update p.9 - Bama323_15
Be prepared to spend a lot of time training him...seriously. Start with simple tasks, sit, stay, etc. and develop your alpha role over time. Once you know he has learned basic commands start enforcing the commands until he shows submission. How to tell when a dog submits? One way is ...
