The issue is she sure seems like she's failed less than you in her career compared to yours, but you basically told us you know what she should have done with her life.

so you're equating money with happiness now?

what does "success" in a career mean in this discussion?

so in order to respond to people on your facebook feed you start a thread on TD?

yea, that makes tons of sense.

So this year's mag doesn't sell at all because of this, well we can put an end to her being a part of it.

well the argument gets rigged once social justice subsidies get applied

if it is a success, it's a sign of progress

if it is not a success, they will blame those of dominant social placement, likely straight, white males, for discriminating

A lot when you're telling us you know more about what she should do with her career and message than she does.

I'm sure you'd have no issue with her telling you what you should be doing with your career and message, right?

He did say he does it in real life too, so I'd assume he called all of his friends out on FB that said those things.

we're at least willing to experiment with different demographics which isn't a bad thing IMO.

However capitalism will win out one way or another. If it sells, it's a win for the cause. If it doesn't then people can rail against the reasons why, but it won't matter.

I cant recall a time she looked like shite.

Tired? Sure I'll tell her. If I don't care for the way an article of clothing looks on her? Yep, I let her know. We have this thing where we are honest with each other. Crazy right?

Again, why are you posting about it here if you are "responding" to people on your facebook feed?

i always welcome people to challenge my worldview and beliefs

i am not talking about the economic success of her message, especially in light of all the social subsidy that she is receiving

telling bad decision makers that they're doing the right thing and that they should ignore people criticizing them is an easy selling point. hell that's a large part of the Democrat ideology and they're doing just well nationally (and i admit their PR advantage over their opponent all the time accordingly). that doesn't make their selling point "right"

well plus size models have had a niche for a long while now and nothing prevents a company from starting a plus size model mag

hell there probably is one. there is certainly BBW porn

unless government intervenes, as it has with other marginalized groups

and that legislation may come one day (again, scary)

like i said earlier this individual example is whatever, but the larger point is one i strongly disagree with

And threads like this, where you target the individual for ridicule as well as the movement you perceive to put them there, give them all the ammo they need. You are supposedly reacting (in a cliche itself) to the overly cliched SJW movement for her being on the cover... and you start a thread ridiculing her weight. They're right.

Her being on the cover costs you nothing yet here you are bitching.

Also, you called me out for equating success to money when i never said anything about it, and you've twice now made success about money, not once by me fwiw.

SI is pretty darn close to the top of the food chain for models, so I think it's a logical leap to say she's been more successful at her job than you at yours, economically or not.

What makes her a bad decision maker?

we would probably cry at the billions spent via medicaid, medicare, and through higher premiums (after unpaid ER trips) due to illnesses of the obese

a. TD allows for much more diverse and responsive discussion

b. starting a discussion on FB is going to open the floodgates of emotional responses, which are minimized here

"ammo" isn't necessary when you simply can look to market forces without the subsidies or governmental interference

we already know what men prefer, and it's not her

if it was her, we'd see models that look like her and not hannah davis

Yeah I was about to say that we are already paying $$$ for other people's poor diet choices.

The stats on the increasing numbers of type 2 diabetes(especially in children) due to how fat as a country we have become is downright depressing.
