Yea Goldman walked up on it for sure probably after Nicole was already dead. That dudes last thought was probably, "I did this to return some fricking glasses."

Wrong place wrong time my friend.

The facts are, by judging of blood splatter, is that it was one one killer.
Nicole was stabbed first, then Goldman was stabbed and killed, then the killer came back and cut Nicoles neck to the point of near decapitation.
This was discussed by a coroner.

I was 20 when all this was happening, and I might have been the only person in America who did not care at all about this. I did not follow it at all.

But this show has me captivated and I'm going over the events now with fresh adult eyes. In short this trial proves that (1) police are generally incompetent to handle and process the highly technical and scientific evidence leaving massive avenues of attack on what would seem to be conclusive evidence, (2) public prosecutors are generally outmatched in a battle of wits with highly paid private defense lawyers; but (3) you have to be able to afford those lawyers to expose the weaknesses.

Maybe police has gotten better at handling this evidence now but in the OJ case it was laughable opening up an avenue for reasonable doubt. Plus Fuhrman invoking the Fifth when asked about planting evidence was the nail in the coffin. What the hell was that? He might as well have admitted it - same impact.

Almost certainly not. Robert died and Kris had to come up with a way to maintain the lifestyle to which they had become accustomed. Whoring out children for publicity then became her plan. To her credit it has worked to perfection.
Rumors have it that she was having an affair with OJ.

He said this after he lied in court while on the stand when he was asked if he ever called a black person a "****". The defense gathered tapes of him using that word 52 times.

He was later called back to the stand and pleaded the 5th to every question before he was asked about planting evidence.

I was a part of a forensic convention and I got to sit and have a private conversation with Henry Lee (the forensic scientist). OJ did it for sure

Dr. Lee thinks that there were two people involved in the killings

This wouldn't be a problem in this case if

This wasn't a problem.

Court isn't meant to be a battle of wits, but rather a place where the evidence speaks for itself only after both sides are aware of the other's arguments and general plan.

Winning a Civil trial only requires a majority of the jury while a criminal trial requires a unanimous jury. I think this is true.

If true, that is a HUGE difference.

Remember, the OJ murders/trial happened on the heels of Rodney King and the L.A. riots.

Some people were VERY unhappy the police were aquitted in that trial. (Insert trucker dragged out and bludgeoned with a cinder block clip here)

Someone mentioned earlier about revenge on the LAPD...

I'll go to my grave knowing leftover tensions influenced the OJ verdict.

Had the trial happened 2 years later, OJ would've been convicted. Even today.

He wasn't convicted, but he is guilty AF.

Not only that, but preponderance of the evidence is way easier than beyond a reasonable doubt.

Yes. He said OJ did it and that someone helped him.

There has always been talk of his son possibly being involved.

Then there is the claim by Glen Rogers who is a serial killer who got the death penalty for other crimes. He worked for OJ and was painted Nicole's condo and he claims he helped OJ. Interesting claim on his part.

I'd love to know who it was that helped him.

What do we think happened that night? Everyone, including myself, pretty agrees OJ did it. Just trying to figure out chain of events. Like maybe he planned on only taking out Brown, then Goldman showed up too.

I was 7 when verdict was read btw

That was the bigger difference in the OJ trials. The civil jury was unanimous on fault (not on damages).

That. Or OJ was staking out her house to see if she was screwing someone and assumed Goldman was the guy when he walked up. She and Goldman were seeing each other socially. He was not some random waiter. He did not even wait on her table that night.

Actually Kim was Paris Hilton's friend/assistant. That's what got her in the spotlight. She was pretty much Paris' bitch.
