It started when the midget gal and her husband bought the joint from Mr. Ray. All of the old staff left and started a coup called the Magic Grill once the Dwarf Era commenced. The Dwarf Era was in fact the demise of Pege's.
We stopped at Ray's a few weeks ago and while waiting at the pickup window some dude was telling me the story about Magic Grill, Ray's, etc. He said Ray is cooking at Magic Grill. Is it good?

Ray's was pretty good still, except no more hand cut curly-q's.

I've heard Magic Grill is the new Ray's PeeGee, too.

Does KiRoLi Park still do the drive through Christmas lights?

Haven't been back to Monroe in about 6 years. I was only able to hit a few of my favorite spots while there. Caught a football game. Ate at Warehouse and drank at Airport Lounge. Also ate at Cotton for brunch before heading out.

I'm probably thinking of somewhere else, you'd know better than me. Maybe I'm thinking of Big Johns in Ferriday (back in the day). Or maybe it was the Snack Shack in Sicily Island.

No wonder i'm morbidly obese.

This is early 90's Monroe for a NLU student. However you left out Sal's, especially the Thursday night beer bust.

Had some hook ups from the bartenders at Cucos during that time
