I've stayed there a few times and outside of the made up murders and other whacky ghost stories, it's a really awesome place to stay.

It really is a peaceful place to stay, especially if you want to just relax. Plus, the small shops in St Franc are really nice as well. It's not a destination you go to if you want some excitement, but rather a quiet relaxing few days.

My problem with the Myrtles ghost stories is that whatever happened there that might have been true has been taken over by these ridiculous grandiose stories that have no provable basis in fact. I just feel like they've gradually exaggerated the stories to the point that they've reached absurd levels, even for ghost stories.
