I remember our bathroom caught on fire one time. Luckily, it didn't spread to the house.

WAFB is reporting that the fire started around 9:00, 20 minutes after this thread was started. LINK

Btrtigerfan, is there something you want to confess? Hmm?

The Myrtles is pretty but the stories are overkill. Oak Alley is another incredibly overrated plantation as well. IMO if you want to see 2 really nice plantations, go to Houma's House and Nottaway.

Damn. These old plantation houses seriously are flammable. Hope it's not too bad. I've been there and it's a cool place, ghosts and all.

This is precisely why you have collision insurance. This is considered an act of God. If your friend would have informed The Myrtles that the tree had a dead limb, he still would be on the hook for damages since he knowingly parked under the tree.

The gardens there are beautiful and worth checking out .

Can't say the same about the Myrtles and the blurry mirror . "If you take a picture you'll see the flash, aka orbs!!!"

I stayed in the master suite on Halloween and had a great time. I would recommend it.
