And much like the internet, an inordinately high percentage is porn.

We may have the capacity, but we certainly haven't learned how to harness and use it all efficiently.

How would you even begin to quantify that?

First step is to ensure you're not petabyte deficient

Video.

Think of every movie or event you can replay in your mind. Every advertisement you have tucked away. Jingle. Song. Movie. Sex scene. Sexual encounter. The cognitive ability to do math. All of it.

I have 34000+ songs on my phone. I can single every single one of them word for word.

So our brain has the capacity of the average storage of an OT'er's porn collection?

Yea, but video and music are often compressed. Compression is not lossless, and therefore our videos and music are typically not at the quality in which they were recorded. Furthermore, we can even choose to have these forms of media at a lower quality. Think buying a DVD instead of a Bluray.

So you'd have to assume that our brains store something at a reduced level, which would explain why the details in our memory are often fuzzy. So again, how do you assume at what level of resolution our brain is storing things?
