It's in everything. I bet you consume much more than you think you do.

frick no because it doesn't taste as good as a cow or goat. If it did, we would. That animal has been bred to deliver vital nutrients and protein with great taste. Besides, what are you going to drink with brownies or cookies, water?

For someone who doesn't care, you seem really excited by the thought of hurting profits in the name of "not lying".

They're successful for a reason, if they think telling alternate truths is good for business then it probably is. But yeah, you think you know better.

What a misleading statement. What is considered "moderation"?

There's also studies that show just the opposite. HFCS can indeed be ingested regularly with little to no ill effects.

Sure it's not good for you per see, but neither is alot of shite if you eat too much. It's not the boogie man that it's claimed to be.

Not true. Consuming large amounts of fructose inhibits the hormone leptin. That's the hormone that causes you to feel full. So when you eat enough fructose, you tend to consume more food as you don't feel satisfied eating a normal amount.

this article is so full of word play and political spin that it just makes me laugh...honestly, I would consider it to be utter bullshite.

It's a big crock of shite. It's terrible for your vehicle and we burn more fossil fuels processing it than we would if we just burned the damn gas to begin with. But Iowa is the first primary and the politicians wont rock that boat.

A cursory search yields contradictory results of studies.

Try again.

fat people dying from diabetes at ~55 is cheaper for us all

Perhaps you jest, but no. Not at all. They don't just suddenly keel over and die. They have a shitload of health problems - expensive ones - for years and then die.

I know someone who is enormous with diabetes and has had a heart attack, two strokes, and a major blood clot in his leg causing the amputation of three toes. He's on a motorized scooter now and is on disability for his income.

We should be doing everything we can to promote a true healthy, active lifestyle. The kind of healthcare we have won't matter since only a small percentage of people will be diagnosed with rare, unfortunate diseases/illnesses while most are fine until they need geriatric care.

Oh, and notice how hard it is to find country of origin information on some of the foods you buy.

Looking at you Kellogg's Cornflakes from Mexico with genetically engineered ingredients.

Fear of HFCS is more foolishness. Watch your calories and you'll be fine.
