I am smack dab in the middle of New York City this next week, not very excited about being here.

Our project is up in Yonkers which has a blizzard warning for Tuesday, should make for an interesting week.

Was supposed to make a trip up to Buffalo next week. Had no interest in being there (Meetings not related to my discipline), and convinced stakeholders I didn't need to be there to get out of it.

This further confirms my decision.

Jeez, I would love just one good snow. Just a few inches. I'd be fine with that

Damn good thing this wasn't during last year's Super Bowl in NYC.

I wish it would have been. Super Bowl should be in a warm weather city.

That's a fairly narrow strip, 100 miles or so, between historic predictions in the City and ho-hum predictions in Eastern Pennsylvania.
It will be interesting to compare this forecast map to what will actually occur.

Any bets that it will be worse than this prediction?

I'm in the 27 to 33 inch range, don't really feel like shoveling all that

I hope so. Never let a good blizzard go to waste. I love watching NYC come to a crawl after a good snowstorm. The biggest I have seen here so far was 24" over like 12 hours. Good luck driving through that .
