#2 is definitely true about the single women around here.

I spent some time in China as part of my international business residency and this statement is largely true.
A byproduct of the one child policy is not only that there are more men but also that those parents with daughters felt like they were disadvantaged. So they poured education into them and as a result this issue of women having high standards is a problem. They want a man of similar education and higher earning power but this is not what the average Chinese male produces. The vast majority of males end up in menial manufacturing or construction jobs. The middle class is growing in China but this isn't what these educated women are looking for.
Moreover, the fat cat Chinese males don't want an educated high maintenance woman. They want a pretty and subservient 21 year old girl from a notable lineage. Remember this is the country that was killing daughters at birth within the past two decades. Women are in fact disposable items in the eyes of some Chinese.
So it's easy to laugh at the poster but the fact is it's largely true and the suicide rate among unmarried 20-something Chinese women is alarmingly high in some areas.

I don't know but I still remember China Doll dancin' her heart out on the side stage at Danny's in Memphis circa 1987.
I gave it up for her when the announcer asked us to.

Unfortunately Western culture and greed/consumerism has corrupted the entire world now. Most of the people on this planet are looking for something they are never going to find in things, relationships etc.

Exactly...it should be in Engrish.

Wait until you're in your 40s and marry a hot 28yo who will have a completely different set of expectations and you'll have a happy wife, a happy marriage and a happy life.
I feel like this would be a really selfish lifestyle and one that could cause your friends to alienate you. And therefore possibly a lonely one. My logic is thus: you're advising to wait until your 40s to marry. But what does one do in the meantime? Casually date girls while in your late 20s, 30s, and early 40s? The older you get the harder this will be to do, and it's really unfair to date a woman around the same age and not be interested in something more serious. Granted I'm sure there are women out there not looking for marriage, but girls also really seem to have trouble letting go of emotional issues past relationships. It seems like your quality dating pool would really shrink.
So maybe you are suggesting continually dating girls in their mid 20s until your 40s? It seems like this would advocate a lifestyle that could be difficult and weird to maintain. Although I will say that online dating may facilitate this more. But at this point, you're dating 20 year olds and all of your friends are married and some are starting to have kids. Plus if you are in your 40s, and are an only child, I think most parents would probably be sad they don't have any grandkids by now. Unless you suggest being a single father as well.
It just seems like a lonely life filled with lots of emotionally unfulfilling casual dating and probably banging a lot of people, which is cool, but I feel like when you get older you shouldn't slut it up anymore.
Having said all this, if you adjusted the age to maybe mid 30s, I'd see it as a viable lifestyle. Would be interested in hearing a rebuttal, specifically about being single in your late 30s when most people you know have kids and family obligations.

Some hard truths there.

#1 this represents progress for China. The government is allowing them to chose their own fate and not arranging marriages for them.
#2 this is really bad for the rice dick men of China. As has already been stated, men way out number women. That is saying something that given the numerous men in surplus they remain single.
#3 which brings up the last observation: China is in denial about their lesbian problem.

Because that picture isn't from China.
It's from a SJW group trying to build public option against a perceived policy.
