I've been thinking the property tax issue needs to change. If you have a home that less 75,000 you pay nothing, that's not right or fair to everyone that pays.

Solution keep homestead exemption but put it on the back end of the value of your home. So it would only kick into affect after 75,001

Fun trip

Driving southbound through Golden Meadow one day, I slowed to 50 and put my cruise on. About a half mile into town, some dumbass in a brand new red Silverado passes me up doing about 70. I immediately think, "Look at this dumbass. He obviously doesn't know where the fricking he's at."

One mile later after the first curve to the left, 2 cop cars have red Silverado dumbass pulled over. I guaranfrickingtee he didn't get a warning.

Check out some of the homes for sale up there. You could buy an entire street for $500k. It's amazing.

I pass through Robeline when going visit my kid in Texas. Tiny arse town has at least 3 or 4 cops parked on side of the road writing up speeders.

I hate the drive back from Texas even more, in Texas the roads are 2 lane but the speed limits are 70-75 everywhere and you can make good time but once you cross the Pendleton bridge it feels like I'm walking going so slow. Then you get to Robeline and slow to a crawl.

We weren’t speeding at all. Not swerving. Just had a tail light that was on the fritz. One of those fonzie deals where you Would smack it and it would come back on.

When we saw those blue lights I thought for sure we were going to jail that night.

Guess I had someone looking out for me
