This was back in 2002. The bridge I got popped on may be long gone. I've looked all over google maps but couldn't figure it out. It was during a month when I was just driving all over the damned state non-stop and it's kind of blurry.

Since I never got anyone on the phone and never planned to drive thru that town again, i just ignored it. A couple years later I went in to renew my Texas DL and they had a reciprocity hold on me from the great State of Louisiana. So I sent the $500 money order to Louisiana public safety or whatever to get it lifted. They sent the money order back to me because they could find no records on me. Weird.

No lie, me and a buddy got pulled over going down to grand isle. Beers deep, barely had time to hide the empties, and spilled one right around my feet in the passenger seat. Had a taillight out, and they let us off with a warning. Couldn’t believe our luck. Fun trip

They’re out there 24//7. I managed to skate through there undetected when I resided in Rayville.

I’ve been ticketed in Forest Hill, McNary, Georgetown and Florien.

St.Gabriel may not be on the list, but they have to be up there. Not to mention the outright crookedness and dishonesty of their department.

I lived in Lake Providence in the past.

You essentially have to be going there or Waterproof to pass through those towns.

Lake Providence is an unfriendly arse place.

I’ve never heard of Creola.

Ive got a connection to a family that was from there, wondering if you were familiar with them. Wont name names but just before hwy 1 and the 4 lane merge back together south end of GM they owned 3 bigger homes for the area esp at the time....brick house fronting hwy 1, wood house set behind the brick one, and then a more modern style same place but fronting the 4 lane. You know or knew these folks by chance?

Whenever my wife and I take drives that go across or into other states, we always talk about how we never see any cops working traffic in those other states and when we cross back into Louisiana there are cops behind every bush and over every hill.

I call total bullshite on Woodsworth only being at 49-60%. I know folks in city government for Woodsworth and ..... ticket money is a larger portion of their intake than that number.

Imagine all the tickets and money that’s made from them that is off the books. There’s a lot more money going around than people know.

Clayton atleast is crooked enough they never file the ticket and just pocket the cash if you dont take it to court. Insurance doesnt jump.

Walker just dropped burgess to 35 mph once you hit city limits. You know, cause driving 45 mph the mile before that city limit sign is much safer roads...

While in Mississippi north of Greenville I was stopped. He suggested cash. I was actually guilty, maybe 15 over limit.
Cheap at twice the price.
Like it never happened.

I also paid cash when I crested the hill at winnfield at maybe 40 over the limit.

Even Sorrento couldn't "ticket" their way out of their mess.
