This applies to adults there w/o kids. If they're hetro honeymoon couples that's no big deal.
Adults at DW or DL alone belong on a watch list.

Doing Disney as an adult w/o kids is a totally different experience. We did it once and had a lot of fun.
I would rather do Universal though. It’s a lot more fun

It's locals who have an annual pass (so no additional cost) and who are buying them and reselling them online.
They aren't "losers", it is capitalism at its' finest.
The "losers" are the people paying hundreds online for a popcorn bucket of Figment.

There's definitely a way to do Disney as an adult right.
Not go.

I can’t fathom spending that kind of money and picking Disney World as my vacation getaway.
Good restaurants and fun rides. Even adults can enjoy that. I've never done it, but I could definitely enjoy it.

Look at this dude with the Super Mario backpack, figment Mickey ear hat, and holding a stuffed figment. He’s living it up waiting in line for a plastic bucket and I bet he couldn’t be happier.
I’m unironically envious of such people.

Maybe all that walking and standing will help those obese slobs lose some weight.

They’re losers if they’re waiting that long to buy one.

?? crazy..... Although if you're paying $1000/day for Tix for family to be there, it probably makes sense to pay $100 to get Jr. the damn bucket and save the rest of the day...

Considering the cost of the passes, the time spent in line, the cost of the popcorn bucket, the fees associated... that's a pretty poor return on investment, but hey if it makes them happy. (Assuming they can only buy one at a time... if they can buy multiple then the math starts to check out...)

Dressing up to pretend everything is "magical" while waiting in line to spend your paycheck on a popcorn bucket is definitely not one of those ways.
No kidding. Wife and I went for a week a few years ago. Rode rides and had fun but did tons of higher end dining and such. Disney offers a ton of that and we had a great time.
What we did not do is take pics with characters, stand in line for popcorn buckets, go to character-themed meals, and other stuff that is reserved for children.

Disney should be like the children’s museum.
If you don’t have kids with you, you cannot enter. This is for obvious reasons.

But but but the restaurants there are really good and definitely don’t taste like Aramark or food from the frozen aisle at Wally World
California Grill? Le Cellier? And there are many others.
But if you're talking about the fast casual offerings in the park then yeah, they can only do so much with hot dogs and chicken fingers.

Its just strange they are in line taking up space to get something that kids want.
Kids don't want a popcorn bucket of Figment. It's nostalgia-induced adults.

I have close family that have become Disney cultists and it's super freaking weird. Last time I visited they had a picture frame hooked up to their office computer that just cycles through pictures they've taken at Disney over the years - they've been SEVEN times in the last decade and spend more going there than their yearly mortgage. Meanwhile the one I'm related to whines that she's never been north of Tennessee or west of Houston.
Lunatics. And yes, they were there last week for the arts festival which basically looks like the Riverwalk in New Orleans during any given weekend. BUT OMG ITS SO MUCH COOLER BECAUSE ITS AT DISNEY.
