I support equality on all matters but again how is the minority able to make these changes. Couldn't there just have been two versions of the certificate??

Right, because that's always the situation

Sure.

So you want to make choices for other people? Sounds a lot like a certain mustached German to me.

You also contradicted yourself by saying the kid has a right to know where it comes from. If you believe that then you must believe that the kid has a right not to know if they so chose.

Lol ok punish people for taking an unwanted pregnancy to fulfillment by legally tying them to a birth certificate forever. How about just aborting it instead eh?

Oh shite. Who wins? How do we decide the winning parent and the parent runner-up?

What would be a good reason for not wanting that info on record?

Because they are forcing changes the majority of society does not need to appease the vocal minority.

Another way to look at it is they're making slight changes that are really inconsequential to the majority.

the legal birth certificate should list the names of the biological mother and biological father

And in instances where the biological father is unknown?

That's not a credible way to look at it.

So the consequences--or lack thereof--are not credible considerations?

We can be certain who the biological mother of a child is, but biological father can be tricky. Are you suggesting that all births be followed by a paternity test to confirm the father?

This is almost certainly in response to the rapidly growing number of whores in the state of Tennessee who have had so many sexual partners they can't pinpoint the biological father. Right?

If the legislative branch had made the change, I'd have very little problem with this.

Nevertheless, it's another sign that the grievance industry is out of control. No one, I repeat NO ONE, was every harmed by putting parents names on a form that listed mother and father.
