I don't know much at all about fracking, one question I do have, it how much water can they reclaim for what they use to frack? Reclaim in the sense that it can be cleaned for human consumption.

eh...I worked a project 2 years ago with a company that was working on a process to clean frack water

I was on site measuring parameters for them, and when the parameters came back at a certain reading, they all went crazy dancing around and pretend throwing money on each other

within 30 minutes, 4 helicopters had landed in a nearby field

it was crazy, not sure what happened with that though

I live in Central, have been paid $300 per acre (I have 3) for 5 years. It renews each year. A Fracking Rig just behind my property completed drilling a little over two years ago. It pays me on about half of the property I own. Royalties have paid me about 25K. Another Rig at the end of my road complteted drilling about a year ago. That one is not in my "pay range", but was still damn close to my house. Central is on the very southern border of the TMSD.

What royalty interest did you agree to? 1/5th? 1/4?

Eta: In my area they were offering $200/acre and 1/5. Until they get to 1/4 I'm not interested in what the per acre bonus is...

Bro, I really have no idea, would have to look at the contract at home.

FWIW, the rig produces both Oil and Gas.......

Beachgrove shouldnt be long now and SLC will be fracing soon. Think results from wells will start coming in pretty regularly since they have more rigs and shorter drill times

Encana has had a few wells IP over 1,000 bbls/day. highest production rate was over 1,600 boe/day (94% oil). The major concern for the commerciality of the play remains in the drilling/completions ring. With the completions becoming more honed, drilling costs will cut with time and the play will work in a couple years. Every play has it's learning curves, this one is not any different than any others. Yes, the Eagle Ford and Bakken are better economically, but the TMS can easily be a tier 2 resource play.

I would love for the TMS to take off, but I hope st francisville doesn't turn into some shitty boomtown. It's a really nice place.

I worked on a Devon drilling rig in the TMS for about 3 weeks. I remember it being a pretty difficult well to drill. Hopefully the operators will figure out how to cut the costs.
