I was out last night and met a dude who was 6'11" or 7'. Absolutely towered over me, which I am not used to at all. Being made to feel small is a very foreign feeling and I was uneasy looking UP to talk to someone.

It doesn't happen often but when I meet some freak of nature who's like 5'10" or something, I feel a little weird.

Aren't you 6'5 but like 180bs?

Pretty sure you feel small because you are small.

I'm 5'7. It's normal to meet and interact with people taller than me.

Exactly. Not to brag, but I'm a solid 1.7 meters so I don't meet many guys taller. It's just weird cause I'm used to lording over everybody due to my height. It throws me off my game when there's someone as tall or taller.

I'm 6'3 215 and I always think about this when watching basketball. The smallest guys on the court are my size or bigger.

A very good friend and my brother in law are both taller than me, so generally it doesn't register as unusual. If it's a woman, I take notice, though.

All OTers are 6-4 or above, so it doesn't happen often.

I live in South Louisiana so I'm a little surprised every time I meet someone taller than 5'7.

I have met maybe two people than me in person. I've met 5-6 whom I was similarly height to. Basketball players. I'm 6'8 and everyone I meet says that have a cousin or brother or ex that was my height. I used to believe them. But I've come to realize that there's no way that can be true with as often as its said.

I will say, I was unsettled when a dude who was 6'2 picked me up like a toothpick the other day at work. I ain't skinny.

I went to a concert in Amsterdam at the Melkweg....no seating, everybody stands. In the US I can always see the stage but in Amsterdam I found out how short people feel. The Dutch are some tall mofo's.

I have no mass but I still take up a lot of space. I don't feel small when there's a swole little short fricker hanging around.

He was a black guy so I'd say the size of an elephant trunk.
